چکیده

Management of drought stress through application plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) is now considered as an effective strategy in the present scenario altered environmental conditions world. The aims and objectives investigation was isolation, characterization identification some potential microbial resources from drought-affected upland rice fields South Bengal followed by experimentation on effect isolated PGPR induced seedlings. Selected isolates were field rhizospheric soils tested for their activity, phosphate solubilization, nitrogen fixation, IAA production ACC deaminase activity. Then, selected identified 16S rDNA sequencing phylogenetic analysis. Among screened two (isolate 1 isolate 6) showing traits, applied studied germplasm (IR64) to find out influence organisms development under drought. Both showed a positive (through increase germination percentage, root growth, shoot fresh weight dry weight) Isolate 6 species Mycobacterium sp Bacillus respectively molecular taxonomy. Hence, these are expected alleviate nature promotion stress.

Plant growth promoting bacteria effects on growth, photosynthetic pigments and root nutrients uptake of Avena sativa L. under drought stress

Drought stress is one of the most important factors affecting plant growth. Plant growth under drought stress may be enhanced by the application of microbial inoculation including plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. This research was conducted as a factorial experiment in a completely randomized design. The first factor included the bio-fertilizer (A. vinelandii (A)), P. agglomerans+ P. ...

Draft Genome Sequence of Plant Growth-Promoting and Drought-Tolerant Bacillus altitudinis FD48, Isolated from Rice Phylloplane

The genome sequence of a temperature-tolerant strain, Bacillus altitudinis FD48, is described here. The reads were assembled into contigs with a total size of 3.7 Mb. The genome information will aid in understanding its role in alleviating stress in crop plants as a potential bioinoculant for agricultural applications.

Rice GROWTH UNDER DROUGHT KINASE is required for drought tolerance and grain yield under normal and drought stress conditions.

Rice (Oryza sativa) is the primary food source for more than one-half of the world's population. Because rice cultivation is dependent on water availability, drought during flowering severely affects grain yield. Here, we show that the function of a drought-inducible receptor-like cytoplasmic kinase, named GROWTH UNDER DROUGHT KINASE (GUDK), is required for grain yield under drought and well-wa...

Effect of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) on the Seed Germination, Seedling Growth and Photosynthetic Pigments of Astragalus caragana under Drought Stress

Drought stress is one of the most important factors limiting plant growth all around the world. Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) can significantly reduce drought stress effects on plants growth. This study was aimed to investigate the influence of PGPR (inoculation by Azospirillum lipoferum, Azotobacter chroococcum, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Bacillus cereus) on seed germination, se...

PLANT GROWTH PROMOTING AND ANTAGONISTIC ACTIVITY OF Bacillus STRAINS ISOLATED FROM RICE RHIZOSPHERE

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are advantageous bacteria that inhabit around plant roots and enhance plant growth by a wide variety of direct and indirect mechanisms. Utilization of PGPR is now gradually increasing in agriculture and offers an attractive way to replace chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and supplements. In our present study six endospore forming bacterial isolates t...
